It’s a last-one-standing battle

Ah, the feeling of being lost.

There’s nothing quite like this feeling. It becomes difficult to understand the emotions that you are going through. Can’t even decide what to do. Everyone seems to be getting ahead of you while you are falling backward and backward.

It feels as if weights are tied around your legs and you can’t move anywhere. Everything feels difficult, and you feel like giving up.

Time for you to act

Stop right there. Think about why you have this feeling. Think of all the good and bad things.

Pick one from the bad side and start getting rid of it. It will take a lot of time because it has been embedded in your life. However, through sheer will, you can get rid of it.

Become conscious of what you want (and don’t want).

Do not let the unconscious take over.

You see, the problem is that misery and being lost have become part of daily life. Whatever occurs in your daily life becomes unconscious. So the problems have become unconscious too.

Reflect and try to fight against them daily. Bring those problems to the conscious level so you can think about them. Develop a plan of action for them.

It will be difficult, but it is a battle you must fight, and winning is the only option.

Keep the good things and try to add more of them. Think about what you have been consuming and how you want to act. Start acting like that. It does not matter if it goes good or bad. Shit happens. Take the lesson and move on to the next thing.

The only thing that matters is that you DO NOT STOP.

Because…

“Once a person stops searching for information and self-knowledge, ignorance sets in.”

— Robert Kiyosaki

Always strive for betterment to improve yourself and help others along the way. If it makes sense to you, DO IT. If it doesn’t make sense to others but only to you, DO IT.

Forget the naysayers. Throw them off a cliff. They don’t matter.

Just act. Let your brain know that’s it worth it, and you trust its intuition. It will start working for you.

Don’t worry about the break-even barrier

As soon as you become conscious you’ll be just below the break-even barrier.

The difficulty here is that you’ll think you are going sideways (no progress or low progress). If it’s on your conscious level and you are thinking and acting to improve things, you aren’t going sideways. It’s progress hidden in disguise.

You see, even in the asset markets, there are break-even barriers for a particular stock, security, etc. It takes time to break the barrier, and before that, it is tested multiple times. If the company is good enough, the barrier eventually breaks (understand the analogy).

Experiment, but don’t expect much.

Do what you want to do even if no one in your circle supports you. It’s the thing that keeps you up at night that matters more.

Take the leap of faith. Maybe this is the thing for you. Maybe it will make you so obsessed that you won’t have to look at the clock. You forget the time because there’s nothing in the world more important to you than doing that thing.

Do it even if there is a 50–50 chance (or less). Even if you fail, you won’t have to deal with the regret of a missed opportunity. Taking things into your own hands matters more because not many people can do that.

Don’t just jump in… yet

Create a long-term plan, but start executing it now.

Improve your plan by copying others who have done it before. The only thing you have to be sure of is “whether you see yourself doing this in the long term.” If the answer is a straight yes, start acting NOW!

Everything is waiting for you to reach out and take control. However, don’t feel entitled. Only your efforts can bring you closer to the things that you want. Your only goal should be to get better at your craft.

The tedious battle

It’s a last-one-standing battle. You need to make sure your greater self is the one that wins.

It will be challenging and fun at the same time. If you enjoy the process, the slow progress won’t affect you. However, there will be times when you need to reflect on the actions that you have been taking.

Refine the process over and over again to get better. This is only possible if you are conscious of the things that you are doing. Track things over a longer time frame.

Acceptance is the last stage of grief and the first step to getting better. Discipline is tough, but at least I can enjoy the things that I am doing, whereas regret SUCKS. Follow if you feel the same way.
